This course is the fourth in a package of 4 short courses designed to support ASU members who want to become workplace delegates. In Session 4, you will learn about power and organisation.
Each course will teach introductory organising skills that ASU representatives can start using in their workplace, which complement formal ASU Delegate Training. All our sessions cover advice about becoming an ASU delegate, as well as what to expect from the role and are available on-demand in your ASU Career Launchpad member portal! Enrol today.
Topics include:
Session 4/4 (30mins)
How to analyse workplace issues using a framework – including the ACTU widely, deeply, winnable checklist
Consider the practical aspects of handling individual member issues vs collective issues using a Case study – as well as an opportunity to work through a power analysis in workbook provided.
